DUBRAVKA KOLANOVIĆ born in 1973 in Zagreb. She graduated painting from the Zagreb Academy of Fine Arts. In 1992 was the winner at the national competition “ILLUSTRATED BY....” that took place in Kansas City in USA. At the age of 19, she had her first book published in America, followed by many others published in Croatia. She was the painter of one of the UNICEF’s Christmas Cards. She arranged several individual exhibitions in Zagreb and Dubrovnik. In 1999 she took part in the 17th Biennial of Illsutrations B.I.B held in Bratislava and in 2000 her illustrations will be exhibited in Japan within the exhibition “Bratislava World Illustrations”. She is the member of HDLU (Acroatian Association of Artists).
